the night slowly fades away.

The summer night slowly fades away into darkness, the moonlight shines onto empty roads of Vietnam.  I stand here as the rain slowly falls to the ground like tears falling from my eyes.  Remembering this time 4 years ago you were still here right beside me.  I still remember this time four years ago I sat underneath the full moon saying “One day I will return and tell you how I feel for you.” I wish I could have told you before I stepped onto that plane.  Today I returned to Vietnam, four years later. I can’t believe four years has already passed by.  I want to see you right away as I stepped off the plane. But I fell to my knees and cried my heart out when I heard my uncle saying, “he isn't in Vietnam anymore.” The night slowly falls into darkness I sit under the full moon with tears in my eyes and say “One day we will meet again.”
